Day 1: Writers Challenge – Mind, Body, and Soul

Hello fellow bloggers and aspiring writers. A few years ago I purchased a book that walked me through a 30 Day writers challenge. I finally pulled it out and decided that today is just as good as any to start. Better yet lets create our own. I would like to challenge you to try these writing prompts with me every day for this month to help us strengthen and have some fun. The best part is that the outcome of this will be to challenge our writing mind, body, and soul.
Day 1: Fantasy Writing Life
When I picture my dream writing life, it’s one fantasy I imagine every time I am writing. I am sitting at a café sipping a latte with my laptop in hand. I sit outdoors, perched underneath an umbrella. The streets are lined with cobblestone. I have a wonderful French waiter that knows just when I need a refill, without interrupting the many stories in my head. I write for hours, amped on exquisite coffee and pastries, lost in my mind. When I look up, satisfied with all I’ve accomplished, the crowds have died down and the next shift is starting. I double check my work and submit it to one of the many editors I work with as a freelance writer. This is my dream writing life.
